Planned Parenthood of the Texas Capital Region, Inc. has three medical clinics in Austin—Downtown, North and South.
All clinics are open 9:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday through
Friday, and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday.
Appointments are necessary for exams; however, you can walk-in
without an appointment for the following services:
- Birth Control Supplies
- Pregnancy Testing
- Emergency Contraception
- HIV Testing (anytime at North & South, on Thursday from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Downtown)
- Urine Tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea for people with NO symptoms (you cannot urinate for two hours before the test is done)
Please arrive an hour before closing for walk-in services.
Federal funds subsidize clients at the Downtown Clinic. The North and South clinics see patients on a cash basis.
All clinics accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discovery.
Clients covered by Medicaid may be seen at any clinic.

Services Unique to Downtown:
WALK-IN CLINIC from 9:00 am to noon, Monday through Friday. Waiting time
is longer than usual, unfortunately. Call for an appointment at other time.

The Downtown Clinic is located at the southwest corner of East 7th Street
and Chicon Avenue. Take I-35 to the Downtown exits and go east on 7th Street
for about one mile. The clinic will be on your right, across from Huston-Tillotson
College.
